Tayssa Hubert
Born into an extremely musical family, Tayssa proudly carries on this tradition, and has been singing for as long as she can remember. Her musical influences are diverse, from Vivaldi and Chopin all the way to Led Zeppelin and The Tragically Hip, and all points in between. Drawing from these influences, as well as formal training and her own life experiences, she produces soulful, thought provoking lyrics delivered in her unique and powerful style.
Jesse Strecker
Originally from Prince George, BC, Jesse decided he was going to play the drums after seeing a Rush concert in Vancouver in 2002, while still in high school. Although seeing Neil Peart play has that effect on many people, Jesse actually went through with it and has been playing ever since. Also drawing inspiration from artists like Aerosmith and Social Distortion, he provides the driving beat behind RVSP's signature sound. In trying times he looks to Steven Tyler's sage advice: "Keep your nose to the grindstone. It sharpens your boogers."
Mark Spilchen
Mark got his start - no kidding - playing Guitar Hero. Not satisfied with a fake plastic instrument, he decided to pick up the real thing, and in 6 short years has developed incredible skills and an impressive guitar collection. A natural musician and entertaining performer, Mark is known for a high degree of crowd interaction, and can be found rocking out amongst the fans almost as often as up on the stage.
Monika Seifert
Monika, aka "Dinky", provides RVSP's bass lines and backing vocals. A high-energy performer with strong rock, blues, and punk sensibilities.
Kevin Navratil
Filling out RVSP's overall sound on rhythm guitar and backing vocals is Kevin Navratil, who joined the band in 2014 after meeting them at a show. When he's not in the studio or on stage, you'll probably find him out on the lake fishing, or somewhere on the river trying to get his boat motor running again.
